Terms of Service
1. Business Identity
I3D LTD (Company No. 15025377) is a UK-based dental design provider. All designs are overseen by a GDC-registered professional (Stelian Bucur, GDC No. 257101).
2. Scope of Service and Regulatory Compliance
I3D LTD provides digital CAD design services only. We do not manufacture or supply physical medical devices. Under the UK Medical Device Regulations (UK MDR) 2002:
Manufacturing Responsibility: The legal responsibility for MHRA registration and the signing of the ‘Statement of Manufacture’ rests solely with the physical manufacturer (the laboratory or clinician) who fabricates the physical appliance from our digital designs.
Clinical Approval: Final clinical suitability and fit of the design must be verified by the prescribing clinician before fabrication.
3. Liability
Our liability is limited to the accuracy of the digital design file based on the data provided. We are not liable for errors arising from inaccurate primary scans/impressions, faulty milling/printing hardware, or clinical fitting issues beyond our control.
4. Payment Terms
Invoices are issued per job for new or occasional clients, and monthly for regular accounts. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. ICO Status
Registration Pending (2026 Transition).
6. Data Processing Addendum (Article 28 Compliance)
This section acts as the mandatory contract between the Clinician/Practice (Controller) and I3D LTD (Processor) as required by UK GDPR.
Processing Instructions: I3D LTD processes patient STLs and identifiers solely to provide CAD design services as per the instructions provided in your order.
Confidentiality: All designs are handled by GDC-registered professionals bound by strict professional confidentiality.
Security: We use secure, industry-standard encrypted platforms for all data transfers.
Sub-Processors: We use WeTransfer and Google Workspace to facilitate secure data handling. No data is shared with unauthorized third parties.
Retention: In line with GDC standards, clinical records are retained for 11 years (or until the age of 25 for minors) to ensure clinical traceability for your records.
Cooperation: We will assist you in fulfilling any patient data requests (SARs) or CQC/GDC audits regarding the designs we provide.
